Iain has a background in environmental and land management, and has worked in multi-disciplinary design offices - work has literally ranged from small loft conversions to leading a team preparing the Environmental Impact Statement for a new town on the shores of the Caspian Sea. Iain has a good understanding of the range of building types in Scotland, and has surveyed properties constructed in the 16th century to very recent builds.

Iain is an Associate of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment, and a qualified Level 3 Non-Domestic Energy Assessor accredited with Elmhurst Energy Limited.
